One Component. Three Roles.
Crescendo VERSE is designed to serve as the central hub of a modern audio system. More than a DAC. With a discrete output buffered preamplifier and a discrete headphone stage, it anchors both personal and speaker based systems with confidence and flexibility.
The preamplifier features a chip-based analogue volume control and a refined discrete output buffer, providing both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA outputs concurrently, allowing direct connection to active loudspeakers or external power amplifiers.
LAiV R2R Digital Heart
At the heart of Crescendo VERSE is LAiV’s proprietary R2R ladder DAC architecture, developed to deliver natural tone, stable imaging, and long-term listening comfort.
Total Control Over Digital Playback.
VERSE also supports native DSD 1-bit processing, allowing DSD playback as originally intended, without conversion to PCM.
An integrated sampling rate converter (SRC) gives users full control over digital playback, with resampling options for both PCM and DSD formats.

1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x up to 768 kHz / 705.6 kHz
DSD Resampling:
DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, DSD512

The fully discrete headphone amplifier includes selectable gain and is suitable for everything from sensitive in-ear monitors to demanding full-size headphones.
In high gain mode, VERSE delivers:
Up to 1100 mW per channel via balanced output at 11 Vrms
Up to 290 mW via single-ended output at 5.5 Vrms
Headphone outputs include balanced 4.4 mm and single-ended 6.35 mm, supported by built-in temperature, overload, and DC protection for safe and reliable operation.
Compact Design, Complete Connectivity
Despite its compact footprint, Crescendo VERSE offers a full range of digital inputs, including USB, I²S, coaxial, and optical, supporting playback up to PCM 768 kHz and DSD512.
VERSE is available in Black or Silver finishes and follows the Crescendo Collection’s design philosophy of clean lines, compact proportions, and stack-friendly integration.
